Detailed Product Description

The Optimus® 45 AM is the most quiet, production, recoil booster equipped centerfire .45 ACP pistol suppressor in the world today. This suppressor to include booster housing is SLM printed of Griffin’s proprietary Nickel 625X superalloy material allowing it to be light, strong, and corrosion proof. The 12 tine piston (sold separately) affords 24 index positions allowing the suppressor to be mounted and timed without shims. If you want the most quiet, this is it. If you don’t want a quiet suppressor, this is not the suppressor for you.

The proprietary, patent-pending Nickel 625X™ alloy showed in testing a ~68% increase in yield and tensile strength over additively manufactured INCONEL® 625 at 1200°F.  INCONEL® 625 is a commonly used suppressor alloy in current next generation military suppressors.  Additively manufactured Nickel 625X™ is stronger at 1472°F than INCONEL® 625 cold formed sheet material at room temperature.  INCONEL® 625 cold formed material provided adequate service in the last several decades of military suppressors.
